What's different

Most reports count moves. This one follows them.

Page 7 tracks what happened to partners who moved in 2024: how many had moved again or left within two years, by firm group, and for individual against team moves. It draws on Tenex Search's own records, which no published source covers.

Method and about

Sources, definitions, how coverage was checked, and how to ask for your own firm's page.

Method

Public moves, checked against the record.

  • Scope. Partner moves between firms into offices in London, New York, Washington D.C., California, Germany, Brussels and Paris, January to November 2026, against the same months of 2024 and 2025. Internal transfers and promotions don't count. December moves follow in a short online update in February.
  • Checked. TNX Market Intelligence, built on Tenex Search's own records of partner and team moves, is checked against published market counts, and the method page says how closely they match.
  • Aggregates only. No figure is shown for fewer than five moves. Firms are named only from publicly reported moves, and no individual is named.
  • Signed. Mahmoud Awad, Max Swycher and Dylan Teasdale sign the report by name. Your own firm's page is shown privately, in a Partner Market Briefing, at no fee.
